Turkish term for “Holy Master Google” – suggesting the search engine’s omniscience.

On Google’s 10th birthday, Kerim Balci noted in Sunday’s Zaman:

Turkish Internet surfers use the term “Google Hazretleri” (Holy Master Google) in order to depict the perception that Google knows everything. Recently as the Chief Prosecutor of Turkey used Google to find evidence against the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) of Turkey to prove that it has become a core for anti-secular activities, the court case was ridiculed by the AK Party supporters as “Google Case.”
